Opened in 2016, Shanghai Disney Resort is the second Disney park in China, after Hong Kong, and the first in Mainland China.

The attractions at Shanghai Disney Resort are largely based on rides found in other Disney parks around the world. Because of that, the park is relatively small when compared to some of the older Disney resorts.
That said, the park still delivers the classic Disney experience, with familiar themes, characters, and well-executed rides that appeal to both adults and children.

The best way to get to Shanghai Disney Resort is by metro.
The park is well connected to the city’s public transportation system, making it easy and affordable to reach, even if you are staying far from the resort area.
Is It Worth It?
If you are a Disney fan like I am and have the time to visit, then yes, it is definitely worth it.
The park does not fall short when compared to other Disney parks around the world. If you are in Shanghai and have already seen the city’s main attractions, it is well worth spending at least part of a day enjoying Shanghai Disney Resort.
